Welcome to Your World
Photoshop 1 Project 2. The assignment as to create a picture using the theme of "Occupation" and there were some pretty amazing results from the class. I wanted to do something that really meant something to me, and this was it.
It's metaphorical. These are the characters I created, standing in the imaginary place I used to go to too often when I was a kid. The bounding box represents the boundry between their world and mine. The picture of me sits both in and out of that world. The closer I get to them the more I become one of them. To me, they seem real, beckoning me, but of course when you get right down to it I know they're not. And lastly, the life and color of that world and those people spill out into my day-to-day life.
It begs the question: Does anyone else feel this way?
